The Henry Brothers team provided an official Water Station for the participants of 2018 Belfast Marathon just after the twenty mile mark on May Bank Holiday, handing out water to thirsty runners and providing much needed encouragement on what was a quiet part of the route. The group of volunteers on the day were inspired by the huge number and great variety of runners, professional athletes, hobby runners and charity runners and walkers. It was great to cheer on one of our own Contracts Managers, Don Brownlee as well as many local friends. Thanks to our Environmental & Quality Advisor, Deborah Madden who suggested this innovative idea; it was a great way to volunteer and to support a fantastic local event. We would also like to thank Braham Electrical, O’Connor Bricklaying and Anderson Interiors for all the help on the day.
