Henry Brothers hosted a cook off in conjunction with Rainey Endowed School and Jane McClenaghan from Vital Nutrition to promote healthy eating. 4 Year 11 Food and Nutrition pupils completed against 4 Henry Brother Employees to make Asian Fishcakes and Garlic and Sesame vegetables. The participants got to see their recipe and ingredients just before the 30 minute timer began. However the candidates took on the challenge with a fun and enthusiastic attitude and produced some impressive dishes. Congratulations to Jane and Matthew from Rainey Endowed and Stephen from Henry Brothers on winning the challenge. The morning was very successful and great fun for all those who participated. We would like to thank Miss Badger from Rainey Endowed for the use of facilities, Kenny Bradley from Kenny’s Spar for sponsoring the event by providing the ingredients and Jane McClenaghan for co-ordinating the event.
