PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The project involved both new building and alterations works to improve both the functionality and operational aspects of the service yard area.

Completed whilst the Parliament Buildings remained operational, works included the installation of a new Upper Security Lodge (prefabricated with full internal fit-out in our HQ in Magherafelt);  Alterations to the existing Security Lodge at ground level to provide improved accommodation for security staff; New security kiosk and pedestrian gate access. The existing ground floor accommodation was upgraded to form a backup incident control room with a new full height security turnstile installed.

External works included access improvements to the goods lift entrance, enhancement of the existing security fencing, installation of bicycle racks and the upgrade of the external surface finishes.
