Glossopdale School Extension
A £3.3m extension featuring nine additional teaching spaces and eight classrooms
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Awarded following the successful delivery of the £23m new build Glossopdale School & Sixth Form College, Henry Brothers was appointed as Principal Contractor and Designer from RIBA Stage 0 to construct a new 900m² build classroom block extension project to increase capacity at the school.
Facilities include nine new teaching spaces, comprising eight standard classrooms and a demonstration science lab, flexible dining, social spaces, and extra staff workrooms. A new multi-use outdoor games area for play and PE was also provided.
The project was delivered within a live environment with shared access with the operational school.
