Henry Brothers Midlands has scooped the title of Commercial Development of the Year at the East Midlands Bricks Awards 2021 for the delivery of the MTIF building for Nottingham Trent University.
The company was also runner up in the Sustainable Development of the Year Award for the Medical Technologies Innovation Facility, which was completed at NTU’s Clifton Campus at the end of 2020.
Henry Brothers project manager Chris Hill picked up the accolade at an awards ceremony held at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground in Nottingham.
Ian Taylor, Managing Director of Henry Brothers Midlands, said: “We were incredibly proud to have delivered the MTIF building for Nottingham Trent University. It’s a first-class facility and we are delighted that it has been recognised by the judges of the East Midlands Bricks Awards as a development worthy of an accolade.

The two-storey building MTIF is part of a new dual-site facility in Nottingham which will produce the next generation of medical devices and technologies.
The team on the development working alongside Henry Brothers included project manager Edge, architect Maber, quantity surveyor Gleeds, structural and civil engineer Curtins, and Couch, Perry, Wilkes for M&E services.
