Leading construction firm Henry Brothers has partnered with Fife College, reinforcing its commitment to educational outreach and providing students with invaluable insight into the construction sector.

The collaboration has seen Henry Brothers facilitate a series of enriching initiatives, including site tours, work experience opportunities, and industry specific presentations, with the aim of inspiring Fife College pupils to pursue a career in construction.

Ian Henry, CR Director at Henry Brothers, said:

“At Henry Brothers, we believe in the power of education and the importance of supporting the next generation of construction professionals.

“As a responsible business, we prioritise creating meaningful social value through our projects, and the Dunfermline Army Reserve Centre project provided an ideal platform to engage with local educational institutions to provide hands-on experience and industry insights to students.

“We look forward to the future of our partnership with Fife College and hope that our efforts continue to encourage students to enter the construction industry.”

Fife College students gained firsthand experience of an active construction environment, learning from and working alongside, experienced professionals from Henry Brothers.

This immersive experience allowed students to develop practical skills and gain knowledge of the business’ cutting-edge industry practices and the growing importance of sustainability in construction.

Frazer Walker, Academic Head – Construction Crafts and the Built Environment at Fife College, added:

“The collaboration with Henry Brothers has been incredibly beneficial for our students, providing them with a unique perspective on the construction sector.

“On behalf of Fife College, I would like to express my gratitude for the hard work the team at Henry Brothers has put into the development of this educational partnership.”

Henry Brothers also recently facilitated Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Net Zero focused presentations at Dunfermline High School, further enhancing the company’s dedication to educational outreach within the wider Dunfermline community.
